Happy newyear everyone!
It took a bit longer to be pressed and delivered to my house than anticipated but without any further ado here it is; the 2014 hardcore album you didn't hear in 2014.
Crows from Dublin, Ireland give you one of the darkest and angriest record ever released on this label. Ten songs of anger, power, mosh, breakdowns, singalongs and more anger. Somewhere between early Undertow and that one good Trash Talk lp.
It has been getting some great reviews already from the likes of Metal Injection http://www.metalinjection.net/reviews/a … r-off-dead
"Maybe it's the fact that Crows sound a little more fed up and depraved than their contemporaries, but Better Off Dead is an album that has some serious attitude beyond the general qualms with life. It's the fiery riffage, it's the punchy drums, the groovy bass (seriously, listen to the bass on this album, it's excellent), it's the pissed off screams and shouts—everything that Crows throws itself at they flat out kill"
and Some Will Never Know fanzine http://www.swnk.org/reviews/crows-better-off-dead/
"This is one of the best dark records I’ve heard this year. If you are into some angry, dark music I suggest you do yourself a favor: get this!"
So yeah, have a listen at http://graanrepubliekrecords.bandcamp.c … r-off-dead and decide for yourself. I still have some red/black coloured left so be quick if you want one of those.
This is a co-release of Graanrepubliek Records, SuperFI Records and Distro-Y and the others should have their records soon as well.
Distro's and labels get in touch for trades and/or wholesale.
Cheers, Mark
