The split 7" from Chestnut Road (France) and New Alaska (UK) is now up for pre-order in the Brassneck Records store. This is the second Brassneck release and is due to arrive with me from the pressing plant in late August. All pre-orders will ship then.
This is a 5 song 7" and is a split release with Speedowax Records. All 300 copies are being pressed on red vinyl with a variety of sleeve colours for those who (like me) enjoy nerdish record collecting.
I'm sure many of you are familiar with Chestnut Road from their debut LP earlier this year (a small number of copies are still available) and, if you liked what you heard there, this 7" will not disappoint. 2 of their strongest songs yet! And that's not just one of those promotional bullshit comments... the songs really are that good. One of them is linked below as proof.
New Alaska may be a slightly less familiar name to some as this is their debut vinyl release. They are a great new post-punk / post-hardcore / [insert your nerdy sub-genre here] band from the Midlands (UK) and feature members of other great bands such as History Of The Hawk, Even Atlas & Drop The Ball. Absolutely amazing debut and one not to be missed.
