Right before i’m heading off to Fluff Fest (where i hope to meet the one or the other of you), I wanted to take the opportunity to inform you about the latest news here at CONTRASZT! RECORDS.
First of all i’m very happy to announce a new release by GATTACA. After several split records and a mind-blowing 7“ EP, it was time for a first full length album by this outstanding band from Olomouc/Prague (Czech Republic). The records will be picked up directly from the pressing plant on Thursday - just in time for their release show, which will take place on Saturday on Fluff Fest. If you’re around, make sure to see them!
End of next week, ACCIDENTE from Spain are leaving for a 17-day european tour (tourdates below). Too bad there aren’t playing anywhere near me. But therefore we’ve repressed their s/t LP as well as „Amistad y rebelión“ LP - they’ll be ready for their tour and i’ll received my share in a couple of days as well. We’ve also repressed the 7“ EP by KENNY KENNY OH OH. This time in cooperation with Rick/Raccoone Records…
Up next and already getting pressed are two debut 7“, both coming out September 8th: STRAFPLANET from Graz are delivering seven tracks of furious and fast HC/Powerviolence in the vein of PUNCH and others. From Copenhagen are DARK MATTER, who’ve recorded four songs of wonderful Postpunk. Or well, maybe less Post, more Punk. You can definetly hear that they’ve been in ASSASSINATORS before…Preorder for both will start in a couple of weeks.
